Four distinct services within your brand come together to form Image Group. Your rebrand requires the "friendly" touch, while remaining utterly professional, in order to appeal to companies who are considering your services. In my submission, the parent brand logo shows the unification of its four brand identities grouped together in the icon (four ovals). Each sub brand in turn has an icon to further represent itself individually while still remaining unmistakably part of the Image Group. The Net Care identity follows nicely. The resulting visual is a cohesive, friendly, readable, communications technology brand.

Monospaced, excellent work. This is exactly the type of responce I was looking for. A theme running through the logo of teh 4 strands of our business.
The onlu problem here is teh the logo is to big for me. The question Bubble is too big. I also want the logo to be in a rectangle shape. Can you make another go of this Monospaced because it is a excellent first attempt and I really like the idea of having a different icon for each one.

This is exactly the sort of responce I was looking for when I put up the competition. ie. for someone to pitch ideas at me for the new brand.

Highendprofile : It is the best so far. Can you do me a favour. Can yo put it on some backgrounds and change the colours to blue and black. Like this document. See Here for example

I need to make sure teh new logo can blend into any background etc etc.

Great work

Thanks Charlie. I think the iconography is the glue that holds the brand together, and a visual theme communicates well along with the type. The bubble might seem quite large, but I have no problem reducing it for you.

I also want the logo to be in a rectangle shape.

What exactly do you mean by this? Please clarify.

Here the Gray and B&W variations for the logo.
And the bottom one, change the logo color to blue and black as you ask and in different background like the example that you gave me before..

Image Group Identity
On Tue Apr 15, 2008 01:38 PM
Charlie,

Thanks for the feedback and clarification. It is true that most logos fit within a rectangle, but almost none of them would be presented like that, ever. Even the Kaseya identity is never, ever, used in a rectangle (check out their website and printed samples in the PDF).

Below you will see my submission with the requested revisions. The "Group Bubble" has been reduced by 30% and the tagline has been dropped a point size giving more emphasis to the word "Image." I have also refined the iconography and provided examples of the Image Group logo in one-color versions for versatility.

Please enjoy, and I look forward to your feedback,

Thanks to monospaced and to highendprofile for excellent work. Highend profile, I think you have done all you can.
Monospaced - No matter how I do I cant warm to the look of the logo you have prvided in the current format. It loks like a + symbol. I really like the concept but I must insist that it is a rectangle in shape.I understand that kaseya is never used in a rectangle but it is still a rectangle logo in my mind.

Also the kaseya is the main focus of teh logo and while you have reduced the bubble by 30%, I feel that it is still the main focus of teh logo. Not "Image" which is what I want.

I want the Image to be bold and brass on it own. and I wantthe text ie. "Your business, our solutions" going in a horizontal line. Not one word underneath another word.

I still love teh concept. But I think the bubble needs to go to the left or the right of Image Group. and teh image needs to be more prominent.

Thanks,
charlie.

Charlie, with a fresh eye on the project and guidance from your revision requests, I think I have a solution that will satisfy both of us.

The bubble has been redesigned to accommodate the rectangular structure you have requested. It is now more angular—tech, if you please—and significantly smaller, while many of its sharp corners have been slightly rounded as well. IThe bubble now emanates from the i in image, which draws the eye towards the word more quickly. The tagline has further been reduced in size and realigned to fill in the overall rectangular shape occupied by the logo. Unfortunately, if I do not stack the words one above the other, the effect begins to fall apart (especially with ICT solutions).

Image hotlink - 'http://www.benwexlar.com/gfxcontests/imagegroup_5.jpg'

Overall, the identity has become more locked together and boxed in, and any more may make it feel sterile. The revisions to the iconography and mark enhance the rectangular effect while placing increased focus on image and remaining friendly and approachable, as per my original design. Please look this over and consider it seriously as the new Image Group brand identity. Lookin' sharp from my corner,

Power - Good first effort. But It just doesnt hit me as well as monospaced and Highendprofiles does. So I think it needs more work. Alos I dont like the gradient or shading at the top of he image.

Abyss - Again, the two mentioned above are very high quality and are 80% of teh way there in what I am looking for. Would need a radical facelift to be in with a shout.

Yonekalay - same as abyss, good thinking though but the logo is too long and the font is not clinical and technical enough for me.

So it still up for grabs.

Monospaced - wHILE THE UPDATE is much improved. Its still not what I want. Maybe it is my eye that is wrong and I dont know enough about design.
But for me The bubble still has my full focus here. Image is still not the main word that jumps out at me. And I'm sorry. For me it has to be the focus word. Also the tag line text must run along the bottom of the main text. I dont want the tag line to be in 3 differnt lines. It needs to be in one line. I would love to see the bubble to the right or left of teh main text to see what it looked like. But I still love the concept. Cmon, give it a go. Just to see what it looks like,.

Maybe somebody else has opinion on this.

High end profile. Just one question. Why is your tag line so blurred. Its hard to read whearas Monospaced text is very clear.

anyway, last show of hands if anybody wants in on this.

To be honest, for 375 dollers, for what is essentially one logo, I though I would have a lot more entrants. But so be it.

Talk later
charlie.

We got blur image when we using jpeg format. It because the resolution (dpi). Sometime because the size or type of font give the different effect.
This one in jpeg format.

Image Group Identity III
On Thu Apr 24, 2008 04:39 PM
I hear your message loud and clear Charlie, and I've been thinking and toying with making this work for you. I was surprised to discover that I could simultaneously reduce and move the iconography to the left of the word image while creating a stylized shamrock shape at the same time. Each leaf representing a sub brand (office supplies, computers, and ICT solutions) which together represent the group.

Image hotlink - 'http://www.benwexlar.com/gfxcontests/imagegroup_6b.jpg'

By removing the white element from the iconography I was able to further reduce its visual contrast in relation to the word image. The result of these revisions, including the placement of the tag line on a single line, is one I believe solves all of your issues. The word image is forefront while becoming integrated with the shamrock and iconography. Overall, the mark is a distinct rectangle and maintains its cohesive qualities. I hope this final pitch will aide your decision-making on your new Image Group brand identity.
